- Surge Testing: Uses high-voltage impulse testing to detect insulation faults between turns, coils, and phases, problems that standard low-voltage tests cannot identify. The system compares waveforms against reference patterns, calculating percentage differences to provide precise fault detection.
- Hipot Testing: Employs micro-arc detection in both AC and DC hipot tests to identify ground faults and phase-to-phase insulation weaknesses. Capacitive compensation capability measures resistive current leakage rather than total leakage, improving diagnostic accuracy.
- Resistance and Inductance Testing: Kelvin connections ensure accurate low-resistance measurements, detecting erroneous turn counts, poor connections, and incorrect wire sizes. Temperature correction standardises resistance values to 25°C for consistent analysis.
